Bill was born and raised in Union, New Jersey where he learned the craft of making pasta from scratch by watching his Grandma, Mary Iorio who had come to America from Italy and settled in New Jersey. She kept the Sunday dinner tradition alive and well by having la familia over to enjoy delicious italian meals, wine and good conversation.
With this passion for cooking thoroughly placed, his sister Donna and he worked side by side in the first Moscatos, which opened in 1996 where he learned and perfected many of his special meals. Moscatos Tuscan Trattoria is alive and well in Easton, Pennsylvania, where Donna continues to impress patrons with delicious food!
When Bill moved to Florida in 2005, he and his wife, Yolanda dreamt of opening a restaurant in the dowtown area. They started small with a take-out and catering business which quickly flourished. The need for a bigger space was obvious!
With the support of his wife and his sister-in-law Maria who recently moved to Florida, Moscatos Bella Cucina, was quickly becoming a reality. Richard Lendino, who was Maria's husband, also dreamed of owning a small restaurant. Unfortunately, he would not be with us in this true family endeavor. However, Richard is forever memorialized with a special family seating area, affectionately referred to as "Richie's Corner". Here you can enjoy special moments with your friends or family under the words, "Together, a great place to be" Make your reservations for this special seating area!
